Toyo Bowl is so cool! They are a fusion of Japanese and Chinese foods. Their taste is smooth with a clean finish. If you have never had a California roll which you appreciated (this is the sushi without any raw fish) then you have to try theirs because it tastes like it was invented here. You must know that unfortunately there's little to no parking. The phrase "hole in the wall" might suffice. There's no bathroom for customer use. But they also make food like a pretty splendid chicken katsu curry where the taste might literally be the best of Japan. If you're having a big party maybe you would like it ordered to go?
Truly enjoyed the beef bowl from this place! Quick and friendly service. They do have an outdoor seating area... however, I would only order food to-go (they're located next to a self-serve car wash. Kept feeling the spray of water bouncing off of the cars being washed while waiting for my food). Parking may be difficult at times, but would still make the effort just to pick up food from here.
Been going to Toyo Bowl for years! Mom & pop shop and the lady is always sweet on the phone and in person. There's a comfort about this place that I can't quite put my finger on, but I'm all about it ! I LOVE this place !! Great food at a great price! I don't know what they do to their California rolls but they are mighty tasty! California or cheese wonton combos are the way to go!! Go get some teriyaki and wontons right away !!
Fried rice is the best in my opinion and the war wonton soup is dank. The customer is awesome. The lady at the front is always very nice.
